Annual ceremony to underline excellence in research and in teaching
Five professors from the Faculty of Law, Civil Law section were honored during the annual reception to highlight excellence in research and teaching at the University of Ottawa, which took place on November 19, 2014.
The five professors are Vincent Caron, laureate of the prize for excellence 2014 in teaching, awarded by the Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs of the University of Montreal in the category of “Doctoral lecturer and post-doctoral researcher”. Pascale Fournier, Full Professor and Research Chair in Legal Pluralism and Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa, selected by the prestigious International Women’s Forum and awarded by the Canada Arab Chamber of Commerce for academic excellence and contribution to Humanity. Sébastien Grammond, awarded the prize of the Quebec Bar Foundation. Benoît Pelletier, for his tribute as officer of the Ordre national du Québec. Denis Vincelette, who received the Governor General’s Academic Medal.
