Professor Fournier’s Keynote speech for the Crown prosecutors, probation officers and court clerks !

Invited by the Centre canadien de français juridique inc (CCFJ), Professor Pascale Fournier will deliver the keynote speech at the occasion of their annual workshop for perfecting French legal terminology addressed to Crown prosecutors, probation officers and court clerks from across Canada.

Created in 2010 to contribute to the Department of Justice’s efforts to improve French training in the judicial sphere, CCFJ is a training centre focused on the particular needs of public and private actors of the judicial system in Canada.

Professor Fournier will speak on issues relating to religious and cultural diversity, and will examine how agents of the State can help to improve access to justice for marginalized groups, especially women.

The conference will be held in Gatineau on January 26th 2018.
